There is no real taxi service in the small
towns. In the sense that there are no cars
painted in special colors with a taxi sign on
their roof parked in public areas waiting for
customers. In full respect of present
regulations and laws private transportation in
the small towns is provided by NCC (chauffeured
car hire). NCC cars are not equipped with a
meter and the price has to be negotiated before
the service begins. Rates are not fixed by the
town's authorities like it happens for the taxis
in the bigger cities. The NCC cars, unless
otherwise specified locally, have to wait for
the call in the garage and therefore the prices
include the mileage from the garage and back to
it. The starting price, for a sedan car, is 20
which include the first 20 km. Additional
kilometers will cost 0.65 each. For minivans
the starting price is 25 including the first
20 km and additional kilometers will cost 0.75
